Early-bird Annual Conference tickets now available

The Insurance Council of Australia’s 2024 Annual Conference will take place on Wednesday, 16 October, at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

This event will gather industry leaders, regulators, and commentators from both international and domestic insurance sectors to explore key opportunities and challenges facing our industry.

Building on the success of last year's format, the morning will feature plenary sessions open to all attendees, while the afternoon will offer a range of breakout sessions. Attendees can choose their preferred afternoon sessions when purchasing tickets.

The conference will address critical industry topics such as:

  • Global protection gap trends and policy responses
  • Regulatory oversight and insights
  • The impact of current reviews
  • The cost of fraud
  • Queensland’s unique risk profile
  • Public liability insurance
  • Building industry trust and reputation

Exclusive rates available for ICA members

Special rates are available for ICA members, with both members and non-members able to take advantage of early-bird pricing until the end of July.

  • ICA Member tickets: $450 per person (early-bird pricing)
  • Non-Member tickets: $550 per person (early-bird pricing)

We encourage you to purchase tickets promptly to take advantage of early bird pricing before it ends on 31 July.

Tickets include lunch and networking drinks following the formal proceedings of the day. Seats for breakout sessions are limited, so early registration is recommended to secure your preferred sessions.

Terms and Conditions*

  • Cancellation policy: Please note that tickets are non-refundable; no refunds will be made for non-attendance and any unpaid ticket fees will still be payable.
  • Substitution policy: You have the option to nominate a replacement if you cannot attend the conference at no charge. To assist with logistics, dietary requirements and seating, we kindly request any substitution is communicated to the ICA at least 48 hours before the event. Kindly inform us of any substitutions at [email protected] at least 48 hours before the dinner to ensure a correct name tag will be available at the registration desk.
  • Photography and videography: Professional photography and videography will be taken throughout the conference. These will be used for promotional activities on the ICA’s website and social media platforms. If you do not want your photograph or any video footage taken, or used, you are required to formally advise the ICA in advance by email at [email protected].
