Catastrophe 216: Severe Storms (SA, Vic & Tas)

Event background

On 29 October 2021, the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) has declared an Insurance Catastrophe for parts of South Australia impacted by significant hail, rain, and strong winds in the past 24 hours.

This was extended on 1 November 2021 to include those areas of Victoria and Tasmania affected by the same storm cell.
